1. Who we are

1.1DZP Studio Ltd is responsible for your personal information. We are registered in England and Wales, company no. 16197011, and our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ.

1.2We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration reference ZB890807.

1.3You can contact us about your information at info@dzpstudio.co.uk or on 07508 382877.

2. What we collect

2.1When you order a report: your name and email address, the property address and any details you give us about the property, and a record of your order and payment. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

2.2When you book your free call: your name, email address and phone number, the property address, what you would like to build, and the email address of anyone joining you.

2.3When you get in touch by email, phone, WhatsApp or the enquiry form on our Contact page: your name, your contact details, whatever you tell us about your project and, if you choose to tell us, how you heard about us.

2.4When you visit the website: our web host keeps basic technical records, such as your IP address and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

3. How we use it, and why

3.1To produce and send your report, to arrange and hold your call, and to carry out any work you ask us to do. We need your information to do what you have asked us to.

3.2To reply to your enquiry and follow up the work you asked about. This is in our legitimate interest, and yours, as the first step towards working together.

3.3We keep enquiries in titleblock, our own practice-management system, which runs on the same secure server as this website. Only DZP Studio staff can see them.

3.4To keep financial and tax records, which the law requires us to do.

3.5To keep the website secure, and to see which estate agency or discount code led to an order. This is in our legitimate interest.

3.6We do not send marketing emails, and we never sell your information.

4. Who we share it with

4.1Stripe, to take your payment. Microsoft, which provides our email, Microsoft Teams and our booking page. Our website host and our email delivery service, which run the site and send your report.

4.2The property data services used to prepare your report. They receive the property address and details only, never your name or contact details.

4.3Anthropic, whose AI model helps write the commentary in your report. It receives the property address and details and the name your report is made out to, but never your email address or phone number.

4.4Our accountants, and professional advisers where we need them. WhatsApp (part of Meta), if you choose to message us there.

4.5Each receives only what it needs, and may use it only to provide its service to us.

5. Information sent outside the UK

5.1Some of these services, such as Stripe, Microsoft and Anthropic, may handle information outside the UK, including in the United States. When they do, the transfer is protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK-US data bridge or approved contract terms.

6. How long we keep it

6.1Order, payment and tax records: six years after the end of the financial year they belong to, as the law requires.

6.2Your report and the details you gave for it: six years, so we can answer any question or claim about it.

6.3Call bookings, and enquiries that do not lead to work: two years. Messages we identify as spam: deleted within 30 days.

6.4Website technical records: up to 30 days.

6.5If you appoint us as your architect, your project records are kept for as long as your appointment sets out.

7. Your rights

7.1You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit or stop using it, object to how we use it, or ask for it in a format you can take elsewhere.

7.2Write to info@dzpstudio.co.uk. We will reply within one month, and there is normally no charge.

8. Complaints

8.1If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right.

8.2You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

9. Cookies

9.1Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

9.2Videos from YouTube load only when you press play, and YouTube may then set its own cookies. Stripe's payment page and Microsoft's booking page are run by them and have their own cookie notices.

10. Your report is automatic, not a decision about you

10.1Your report is produced automatically from data about the property. It does not make any decision about you.

11.1We will update this notice when anything changes, and the date below will show when.
